Cable Management

Encompasing a large array of finished products, cable management includes large range of Pre-Galvanised, Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled materials. The finished products include Strut framework, Cable Tray, Cable Ladder and Trunking to support the electrical and data cable is typically in the celings of buildings. This is one of our largest market sectors and is very steel intesive.
Dry Lining

The dry lining sector is a way of lining internal brick walls and creating partions for non-load bearing walls to divide spaces in either commercial or industrial properties. Steel provides a better alternative to timber when considering the ease of erection, inherent strength and fire resistance when measure against its wooden counterpart.
Pallet Racking

This is a storage solution for many warehousing applications that ensures products and goods are stored safely using the full height of the space available. With different designs for beams and struts material is rolled into section and offers load bearing qualities making it possible to store heavy products safely and economically. These solutions are also designed to withstand some impact during normal movement of goods which sometimes involves specialist lifting equipment. The material we typically supply into this sector is High Strength hot rolled and some Cold Rolled/Gauge Corrected material with thicknesses as high as 4.00 mm for certain customers
Office Furniture

This market sector is as diverse as it gets as the design can vary so much, but steel manufactured office furniture still prevails as the prefered choice for these products. Predominantly this steel is Cold Rolled material in gauges from 0.50 - 0.80mm and is turned into filing cabinets, desks, drawers and lots of other storage solutions in the office. Typically the material we supply needs to have a very good surface due to the cosmetic requirements after powder coating, along with an excellent flatness tolerance enabling panels to be flat and uniform.
Enclosures

The current advancements in social media and particularly AI, means there is a lot fo demand for enclosures housing computers. The cloud is actually situated in endless computers housed in enclosures in many loactions around the world. Enclosures are also used to house electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, busbars and switchboards. Again surface and flatness are critical in this sector and whilst we do supply slit coil into this sector, the bulk of what we do is decoiled sheet and blanks.

Steel shelving is widely used in many commercial and retail applications whereby products are often sold directly to the public. If you think about the average supermarket pretty much all of the products are sold in this manner. With regular use and wear, retailers have to update or replace shelving over time and the typical gondola shelving design allows just the shelves to be replaced, rather than the whole system. Again this is typically Cold Rolled material supplied that is then subsequently powder coat painted afterwards.
Solar Farms

With a race for renewable energy, Solar farms are a valuable source of renewable energy. Floor mounted framing systems are required to support the solar panel itself and are required to cover vast areas at times so this can be a steel intensive sector and is at the forefront of using the 'new' Zinc Magnesium coatings such as POSMAC / Magnelis and Magizinc. This is due to the longer life these products offer in the outdoors, and what can be, harsh environments.
Automotive

There is approximately 1.500 tonnes of steel in every car and this ranges from external body parts to bumper assemblies and many other steel components. With a big drive at the start of the century to reduce weight to save fuel and money, we have seen some of the most advanced grades of steels developed in this sector. It is now not unusual to have material with a 1100 yield that can also form and bend. This is one of the largest sectors for steel consumption in the world and will continue to drive steel technology forward in the future.
